Outcomes

This exchange resulted in the formal decision for Shizuoka University’s research team to visit IITH in April 2025. IITH graduate students demonstrated significant interest in Japanese internships, actively engaging in discussions about Hamamatsu-based companies. Productive exchanges on wastewater treatment and environmental conservation were held, broadening prospects for joint research funding and international collaboration projects.

Through visits to Ryugashido Cave, Kunozan Toshogu Shrine, and Miho no Matsubara, participants gained a deep appreciation of Japanese culture and nature. The networking event further strengthened mutual understanding. This exchange achieved not only academic collaboration but also multifaceted interactions encompassing culture and industry, paving the way for future advancements in collaborative research and personnel exchanges.
