Research Activities

International Conference on Green Science and Technology 2023(ICGST2023) was successfully held from December 7th to 8th, 2023, welcoming 68 participants. Hosted in Kuala Lumpur, a city known for its remarkable development as an international hub, the symposium was conducted in a hybrid format, combining both online and on-site participation.

The symposium featured invited lectures and poster presentations by researchers aiming to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 2 (Zero Hunger), 3 (Good Health and Well-being), and 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy) (Program-ICGST2023.pdf ). Under the theme "To Know Each Other for Green Science and Technology," the event facilitated meaningful knowledge exchange among participants.

The Green Science and Technology Institute contributed significantly, with four invited speakers, eleven poster presenters, and four faculty members, totaling nineteen participants on-site. Additionally, participants from seven universities across four countries, including Shizuoka University, played a significant role in the symposium's success. The online segment of the event was conducted via Webex, providing access opportunities for researchers who could not attend in person.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all participants, presenters, and support staff, with special thanks to the UTM organizing committee, especially to Professor Hesham and Dr. Daniel, for their outstanding management and dedication.

Building on the success of ICGST2023, we aim for further development in future events and symposiums. The next ICGST is scheduled to take place in India in 2025.
