In order to effectively utilize ICT in the real world and provide a diverse range of services, it is essential to develop technologies that can autonomously recognize and judge various situations and environments and then take appropriate control measures. We aim to achieve practical application by promoting research into multimodal IoT and AI and integrating data such as images, videos and text, while also bridging the gap between basic and applied research.
By strengthening the integration of multimodal data in green AI in agriculture, it will be possible to achieve precision and sustainable agriculture. However, there are still issues with data processing and system operation, and further research and practical application are needed. We are conducting multimodal IoT/AI research with the aim of achieving field informatics that can intelligently utilize diverse data.
